Privacy Policy

Seven questions about your data, answered plainly.

NonGamstopCasino Ltd runs nongamstopcasino.ing and decides how the personal data described below is used, which makes us its controller. UK data protection law, meaning the UK GDPR together with the Data Protection Act 2018, governs everything on this page. We have written it as a set of questions because that is how most people come to a privacy notice.

1. Do I have to give you anything to read the site?

No. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no paywall. You can read every scorecard and guide anonymously. The only personal data we receive without you choosing to send it is the technical information any web server sees, covered in question 2.

2. What do you collect automatically?

Each time a page loads, our hosting records a log line: the IP address making the request, the browser and device it reports, the address requested, the page that sent you and a timestamp. We look at these logs to spot attacks, fix broken pages and keep the site available. They are not used to identify individual readers.

If you agree to analytics cookies, we also see aggregated figures about which pages are read and for how long. If you agree to affiliate cookies, a click on a casino link generates an identifier the casino uses to credit us with the referral. The full list sits in our cookie policy.

3. What happens to an email I send?

Writing to [email protected] gives us your address, whatever name you sign with and the message itself. We read it, answer it and keep the thread so that, for example, a correction you reported can be traced back to you if a follow-up question arises. Nothing you send is added to a newsletter list, because we do not run one.

5. Who else sees it?

A small number of suppliers help us run the site: our host, our analytics provider and our email provider. Each one handles data only on our written instructions. A casino you click through to learns that the visit came from us; it does not get your name or email address from us, and anything you then type into the casino’s own forms is governed by its privacy notice, not this one. We would hand data to a public authority only where the law obliged us to.

If a supplier stores data outside the UK, the transfer relies on a mechanism UK law recognises, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

6. How long do you keep it?

Log files are rotated out after a short security window. Email threads are held while a matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, then removed. Analytics figures are either aggregated, so no individual can be picked out, or deleted under the provider’s retention setting.

7. What can I ask you to do?

You are entitled to see the personal data we keep on you, to have errors fixed, ask us to delete it, ask us to pause or stop using it, or ask for it in a portable format where that right applies. Consent can be withdrawn whenever you like, most easily through the cookie settings. Send any request to [email protected] and expect an answer within one calendar month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, the Information Commissioner’s Office handles data protection complaints at ico.org.uk. Giving us a chance to fix the problem first is welcome, though not required.

A note on age

The site is written for people aged 18 or older, and we do not set out to gather information about anyone younger. If you believe a child has contacted us, let us know and we will delete the message.

We revise this notice whenever our tools or the law change, and the text on this page is always the current version. NonGamstopCasino Ltd, [email protected].
